Power of Community

Within the CMC system, coaches can network, collaborate with one another, and share experiences of what has and has not worked within their own businesses. As human beings, we make sense of ourselves through dialogue.

While we may not think of getting around other individuals with similar ideals as a strategic plan to reconcile our own journey, it nevertheless does just that.

Each step taken within the construct of the community leads to better results at every turn.

Why would this be?

It is because learning in a communal setting allows for exploration. This differs from programs that merely outline a step-by-step system. Those types of arrangements are linear, and life rarely moves in a straight line.

They leave no opportunity for the learner to receive feedback. Nor do they account for what to do when a coach comes across a situation that is not explained in one of the steps.

Like so many others, Katy found feedback to be of vital importance for her growth. Not only as a coach but as a person.

She expected to receive evaluations, but providing them was initially very difficult. As the one being coached, her inclination was to express that the coaches performed at levels of near perfection.

Developing her own coaching style equipped Katy to recognize that honest feedback was necessary in order for the other participants to have an authentic experience.

The association within CMC gave her the confidence to be vulnerable, to identify areas for her own growth, and realize that who she was and what she could offer to the world is valuable and has great potential to create an immense impact.
